Coffee Talks

A series that I hold dearest to my heart and my favorite to capture.

Personally, I think coffee talks are right behind car talks. It may not be as private as being inside your car but when you’re deep in the convo with your friend it feels like no one around you exists - I’m sure the person next to you at the coffee shop might listen in to your convos here and there or sometimes… maybe you might eaves drop (guilty) on others’ convos but everytime I ask someone to catch up over some coffee, I’m almost always left with some form of wisdom or just plain ‘ol gossip. Either or, I feel satisfied and feel like I can conquer the rest of my day ahead.

Can we also talk about how each space is so curated to their location and vibe? From the actual building, the hand picked art + trinkets to display, the pieces of hardware they use to serve each beverage, and the cups?? It’s a dream. I feel like I have an ongoing list in my brain of different coffee shops. They’re usually organized by the vibe which all vary but most of the time fall into the same category: to catch-up with someone, a quick grab + go, to sit with myself, maybe to journal and/or work on the many side projects I’ve collected over the years, it’s really just based off of what I want to surround myself in.

Regardless, if you’re with a friend, a group, a lover, or by yourself - it’s a space to create endless connections.
